- The 2019 U13 Girls won the Grand Final
- Bringing home the clubs 1st every flag.
The Girls really are a team of equals who all played their parts in a great win against a never say die Tweed Tigers side.Teamwork and working for each other all around the ground proved a winning formula for the girls who pushed into a strong breeze in the 1st qrt.
Scoring freely and Not allowing Tweed to score in the 1st half set a high bar for the visitors to climb.
The girls were led by captain Kaliyah Browning who was judged best player afield. Her drive and determination inspired teammates to push themselves to all parts of the ground.
The whole team contributed as they were rotated through the midfield of the ground to share the work load.1st year player London shone up forward with her ferocious tackling which set the tone for teamates, she kept the footy locked into our forward line and created opportunities for goals.
Down back Rianna, Ella, Ayla locked down their tweed opponents making them earn ever possesion. Helped along by Ari who played as defensive sweeper and Milly who worked tirelesly although still not 100% over her flu.
Jazz, Summer And Might bulldog Taminyah all put their bodys in harms way to get 1st use of the footy for their teamates. Tobsha pushed hard in the forward line to create opportunities for teammates and club stalwart Thandi was magnificent with her run and long kicking to drive the ball deep into our forward line.
Congratulations to coach Gareth whos commitment and passion could be seen instilled in his charges.Congratulations Brunswick Valley Bulldogs U13 girls PREMIERS 2019
